Most weekly art classes meet for 75 minutes; younger classes meet for one hour; and adult classes meet for an hour and a half.
Classes are semester long: fall classes run from late August through mid-December, and spring classes run from early January through May. During the summer we host several week long summer camps. Classes are capped at 9 students to maximize one-on-one instruction and guidance for each student. Below you will find the class schedule.
Tuition for group classes is $70 a month.
There is a $40 supply fee for the semester for each student due at the time of registration.
COVID:
Masks are NOT required! In fact, we prefer being able to see each other’s beautiful faces during art class. This helps with communication too.
We have always believed in washing hands here! And we have always had hand sanitizer in the studio as well. Students are encouraged to wash and sanitize. Studio tables are wiped down and sanitized after each class.

In this summer camp we will explore various techniques in art to create images of the young artists’ favorite animals. We will explore various techniques including charcoal drawing, pastels, watercolor paint, acrylic paint, and sculpture. Sign up by Apr. 1st with a nonrefundable $50 deposit toward the camp.
Drawing Foundations June 24-28. 9am-12pm – This camp is full
For kids ages 8-16. $175 for the week.
This summer camp focuses on drawing techniques, design, and composition. Drawing techniques and mediums covered will include in graphite, charcoal, white charcoal, pastels, colored pencils, and pen & ink. Through these drawing mediums, students will learn linear perspective, shading and blending, shape and proportion through still life drawing, how to draw animals and various textures, and how to work with line and fine detail in drawing natural forms. Painting with Tyler June 24-28. 2pm-5pm. – 1 spot available

In this summer camp we will explore various techniques in watercolor, gouache, and acrylic painting. We will create works of art in a variety of subject matter including landscapes, flowers, and animals. Sign up by Apr. 1st with a nonrefundable $50 deposit toward the camp.
Printmaking Extravaganza July 8-12. 9am-12pm. – 5 spots available
For kids ages 10-17. $200 for the week.
In this summer camp we will learn about several types of printmaking including several techniques of monotypes, relief prints, drypoints, and textural plate printmaking. Children will learn the fun of creating multiples! Sign up by Apr. 1st with a nonrefundable $50 deposit toward the camp.

In this summer camp we will explore various techniques in art to create images of nature around us. These little artists will create beautiful landscape paintings, drawings of plants and flowers, animals, and more! We will explore various techniques including charcoal drawing, pastels, watercolor paint, acrylic paint, and sculpture. Sign up by Apr. 1st with a nonrefundable $50 deposit toward the camp.
Sketchbooking with Tyler July 15-19. 2pm-5pm – 3 spots available
For kids ages 8-16. $175 for the week.
In this summer camp, Tyler will lead these young artists to experiment with various mediums and techniques in their own sketchbook. Students will be provided with a hardback professional artist’s sketchbook. Together they will learn about creating thumbnail composition studies for larger drawings, and will create finished pieces in their sketchbooks. Sketches will include drawing from observation (both indoors and outdoors), working from photos, and drawing in the style of master artists. We will explore working with graphite, pen & ink, watercolor, and gouache. After this camp, students can continue creating art in their sketchbook at home.
Learning From the Masters July 22-26. 9am-12pm. – 5 spots available
For kids ages 6-16. $175 for the week.
In this summer camp we will explore various artists from art history. Art history can be so fun and exciting! Students will learn about the artists, their techniques, and the art style of that art period. In learning about these artists, students will learn drawing techniques including graphite, charcoal, and pastels, and various painting techniques to create copies of famous paintings from history. The students will work from master artists such as Leonardo DaVinci, Michelangelo, Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt, Picasso, Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Mary Cassatt, Van Gogh, and Georges Seurat. Creating Masterpieces July 22-26. 2pm-5pm. – 6 spots available
For kids ages 12-17. $175 for the week.
In this summer camp we will focus on creating several large masterpieces. The focus will be on a large drawing and a large acrylic on canvas painting. Professional art materials will be used. Students will be encouraged to push themselves in their focus and level of detail.
