2026 Summer Camps
Nature Lovers June 29 - July 3. 9am-12pm. – 7 spots available
For kids ages 6-12. $175 for the week.
In this summer camp we will explore various techniques in art to create images of nature around us. These little artists will create beautiful landscape paintings, drawings of plants and flowers, animals, and more! We will explore various techniques including charcoal drawing, pastels, watercolor paint, acrylic paint, and sculpture. Sign up by Apr. 1st with a nonrefundable $50 deposit toward the camp.
Learning From the Masters July 13-17. 9am-12pm. – 3 spots available
For kids ages 6-12. $175 for the week.
In this summer camp we will explore various artists from art history. Art history can be so fun and exciting! Students will learn about the artists, their techniques, and the art style of that art period. In learning about these artists, students will learn drawing techniques including graphite, charcoal, and pastels, and various painting techniques to create copies of famous paintings from history. The students will work from master artists such as Leonardo DaVinci, Michelangelo, Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt, Picasso, M.C. Escher, Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Mary Cassatt, Van Gogh, and Georges Seurat. Sign up by Apr. 1st with a nonrefundable $50 deposit toward the camp.
Sketchbooking Aug. 3-7. 9am-12pm. – 5 spots available
For kids ages 8-16. $175 for the week.
In this summer camp, young artists will experiment with various mediums and techniques in their own sketchbook. Students will be provided with a hardback professional artist’s sketchbook. Together they will learn about creating thumbnail composition studies for larger drawings and will create finished pieces in their sketchbooks. Sketches will include drawing from observation (both indoors and outdoors), working from photos, and drawing in the style of master artists. We will explore working with graphite, pen & ink, watercolor, and gouache. After this camp, students can continue creating art in their sketchbook at home.
